Our goal is to bring JAZZ and HIP HOP into the classroom, to engage students in critical thinking and further the conversation on social issues.

We have created an interdisciplinary project that incorporates the history of JAZZ into the World History curriculum, allowing to teach the Civil Rights movement through JAZZ, in the framework of Project Based Learning (PBL).

Originally developed for high school students and available in different formats, this series of lectures is also directed to social science teachers and musicians, offering an opportunity to get the whole picture and to have a better understanding of the music.
